UPS Batteries & Accessories

Shop replacement batteries, external battery modules, bypass equipment, mounting hardware and other accessories for compatible uninterruptible power supplies. These products support battery replacement, runtime expansion, installation, maintenance and monitoring of UPS systems.

UPS batteries and accessories are frequently model-specific. Verify the complete UPS manufacturer and model number before selecting a replacement battery, external battery pack, bypass switch, rail kit or communication accessory.

Selecting UPS Batteries and Accessories

UPS systems use batteries and manufacturer-specific accessories to provide backup runtime, installation flexibility, maintenance capability and remote monitoring. Replacement components should be selected using the complete UPS model rather than physical appearance alone.

Battery voltage, capacity, connector arrangement, physical dimensions and charging requirements must be compatible with the UPS. Installing an incorrect battery or external battery pack can affect runtime, charging performance and equipment operation.

Common UPS Accessories

  • Replacement batteries: Restore backup capability as existing batteries age.
  • External battery packs: Increase available runtime on compatible UPS systems.
  • Battery cabinets: House larger external battery configurations.
  • Maintenance bypass equipment: Allows supported loads to be transferred around the UPS during service in compatible installations.
  • Mounting hardware: Includes rack rails, brackets and installation kits.
  • Communication accessories: Support remote monitoring, network management or alarm signaling.

Replacing UPS Batteries

Rechargeable UPS batteries gradually lose capacity with age, temperature and repeated discharge cycles. A UPS may continue operating normally from utility power while providing substantially reduced backup runtime if its batteries have deteriorated.

Use the UPS manufacturer’s specified replacement battery or an explicitly compatible battery assembly. Follow applicable procedures for battery handling, installation, testing and recycling.
