V.35 Connectivity for Legacy Data Equipment

V.35 connectors are used with legacy routers, telecommunications hardware, data communications equipment and specialized interface cables. Replacement connector components remain useful when maintaining installed systems that continue to rely on this interface.

Male and Female V.35 Housings

Connector housings are available in male and female configurations for compatible V.35 assemblies. Match the housing to the mating equipment connection and required contact arrangement before building or repairing a cable.

V.35 Crimp Contacts

Male and female crimp contacts provide the electrical termination inside compatible V.35 housings. Contact design and supported wire size should be matched to the housing and cable conductors being assembled.

Connector Kits and Hoods

V.35 connector kits may combine housings, contacts and mechanical hardware for cable assembly. Hoods and strain-relief components help protect the termination area and support the cable where it enters the connector.

Router and Telecommunications Applications

V.35 interfaces have been used with routers, CSU/DSU equipment and other data communications hardware. When maintaining legacy equipment, verify the interface and cable pinout rather than relying only on connector appearance.

Selecting V.35 Components

Determine whether the application requires a male or female connector, then verify contact type, wire size, housing style and mechanical hardware. For replacement assemblies, compare the original connector and equipment documentation before installation.
