Coaxial Signal Distribution

RF and CATV distribution components divide, combine or route signals carried over coaxial cable. They are used in television, antenna, broadband, satellite and other RF installations where one feed must serve multiple destinations or frequency bands.

2-Way, 3-Way and Multi-Way Splitters

Coaxial splitters divide one RF input among two or more outputs. Choose the number of outputs required while comparing frequency range, insertion loss and port-to-port isolation for the intended system.

CATV and Digital RF Splitters

CATV and digital splitters are designed for specified RF bandwidths and 75-ohm coaxial systems. Higher-frequency models may support satellite, broadband or other applications extending beyond traditional television frequencies.

Directional RF Taps

Directional taps divert a controlled portion of an RF signal while allowing the main feed to continue through the system. Different tap values can help balance signal levels across longer coaxial distribution runs.

Diplexers and Signal Combiners

Diplexers combine or separate signals occupying different frequency ranges so compatible services can share a coaxial path. Verify the supported frequency bands and power-pass requirements before installing a diplexer.

Selecting an RF Distribution Component

Start with the signal type and frequency range, then determine the required number of outputs or tap value. Compare impedance, connector type, insertion loss, isolation and whether DC power must pass through one or more ports.
