Where 3rd party notification applications are not required, the IP-8SCMF speakers can register as SIP devices directly to a SIP server or VoIP Communications Manager for critical alerts /public address applications and two-way communication.

IP-8SCMF indoor speakers are fitted with a dual cone 8" (205mm) speaker that is optimized for voice intelligibility.

The grills for the IP-8SCMF+ IP speakers are made of 18-gauge metal construction that provides security and durability in commercial applications. The baffle is finished in neutral white electrostatic powder coat and is packaged with all necessary mounting screws.

While in Standby, the IP-8SCMF displays time and eliminates the need for a separate master clock system by utilizing national time synchronization protocol (NTP) to stay up to date. When active, the I8SCMF+ display changes from time to visual notifications by Scrolling text content over the 16 X 64 high-resolution LED digital readout.

The LED flashers located below the display can be used to alert room occupants of an incoming audio message as well as scrolling text message in accordance with ADA compliance.

IP-8SCMF includes an omni directional subminiature, electret condenser microphone that is mounted behind the grill’s steel perforation material adjacent to the speaker to allow two-way communication and/or monitoring from the speaker location to any PC or phone handset.

All Atlas IP speakers consist of a factory assembled speaker, grill, and PCB amp/control board that is securely mounted to the rear of the grill.

The IP-8SCMF features include auto-provisioning and auto-registration. This is an easy and timesaving way to configure our IP speakers on your Voice VLAN, similar to a VoIP handset. By sitting on the same VLAN, both VoIP phones and IP speakers share the same Quality of Service (QoS) so communications are always secure and guaranteed
