AtlasIED MLE-series explosion-proof drivers are intended for specified Class I, Division 1 Groups C and D hazardous environments. The family includes 30W low-impedance and transformer-equipped versions for compatible explosion-proof horn projectors.

Confirm that the site classification is C/D and does not require Group B capability, then match power, electrical loading and the approved HLE/MLE horn projector. Listed installation practices and conduit methods remain part of the complete hazardous-location system.

Use an HLE B/C/D-rated driver instead when the classified area includes Group B gases such as hydrogen.
