Our 8" black polyresin laminated woofer is rated 100 Watts RMS, 150 Watts maximum at 8 ohms, and has a 40 oz. magnet with a 1 1/2" high temperature aluminum voice coil. It holds a frequency response of 30 to 4,500 Hz. with a sensitivity of 94 dB.

A very nice speaker. Well made for the price, stiff cone, foam surround and very efficient. A rubber surround would be icing on the cake. Heavy magnet...keep your watch away from this one. Using it in a small, Folded Horn design box with two horns...midrange and tweeter. Although, have not had time to measure a full frequency sweep, it made a small, dedicated subwoofer (good for 35Hz in a corner) superfluous. At this point in the speaker box construction, it has a very accurate, lvely and lifelike presentation. I like it.
